With over 20 years of experience teaching dance in professional and community settings, Djenane will have you moving and dancing in no time! Live drumming and singing will provide participants with cultural context and historical knowledge to Haitian folklore.

No previous experience of dance or Haitian folklore required; just bring comfortable shoes and clothes, water, yourself, your family or friends, and an open mind and be ready to sweat and let go. An accomplished group of dancers and drummers will transform the Flow Studio inside the Creators Space and immerse you in the strong spirit of Haitian tradition.

5pm - Children 6-12yrs: Haitian drumming, singing, and dances

6pm - Teens 13yrs+ and Adults: Haitian dances

7pm - Afoutayi Company Rehearsal
